Walks Programme, Summer 2025

Urgent – WALK THIS WEEK – WEDNESDAY (not Tuesday) 2nd JULY, FROM THE FOX BUCKS GREEN.

One of our main activities. Join us for a pint afterwards!

Usually on a Tuesday evening, May to July 2025, at 7.00pm. 

Several walks, INCLUDING THE FIRST ONE, are either on a different day or different time. Check carefully! 

There is no charge. All are welcome.

 Please note: all participants walk at their own risk.

Dogs always welcome (to be on a lead at all times). The average walk is 4 miles in 2 hours. These walks are friendly and fun, and often end in the pub. Just turn up and go (suitably clad of course)!

We walk whatever the weather.

Tuesday 13 May, 7.00pm, leaders Brian Allen, The Onslow Arms, High Street (B2133), Loxwood,  RH14 0RD, park in the Wey & Arun car park accessed through the pub car park. Destination: tbc

Tuesday 20 May, 7.00pm, leaders Clive & Nicky Bush, The Red Lyon, The Street, Slinfold, RH13 0RR, park sensibly in pub car park or on roadside. Destination: Nowhurst & Rapkyns.

Tuesday 27 May, 7.00pm, leaders Geoff & Jean Ayres, Pephurst Lay-By, Station Road, Loxwood, RH14 0RW, park in lay-by. Destination:  Brewhurst and Barnfold. Join us at The Fox afterwards!

Tuesday 3 June, 7.00pm, leader Steve Kenward,  Memorial Hall, Furzen Lane, Ellens Green, RH12 3AR, park in hall car park or in the road if full. Destination: tbc

Tuesday 10 June, 700pm, leader Cliff Walton, The Scarlett Arms, Walliswood, RH5 5RD, park in car park opposite. Destination: Oakwoodhill’s woodland church.

Tuesday 17 June, 7.00pm, leader John Connold, The Sussex Oak, Church Street, Warnham, RH12 3QW, park sensibly in pub car park. Destination: Warnham Court Deer Park & Warnham Manor.

The Alan Miles Memorial Walk                                                                              Tuesday 24 June, 7.00pm, leader Stephen Chandler, The Inn on the Green, Stane Street (A29), Ockley, RH5 5TD, park in the pub car park towards the back. Destination: Elmers Windmill and Vann Lake.

Wednesday 2 July, 7.00pm, leader Malcolm Francis, The Fox Inn, Bucks Green, RH12 3JP, park in A281 layby. Destination: Baynards Station (entry to private garden (no dogs) by kind permission of Frazer & Linda Clayton)
